Editorial standards

These are the standards Intergrateo Press holds every title to. They are public so that readers, authors, retailers, and reviewers can hold us to them in return.

Editing

Every book we publish receives structural editing, line editing, and copy editing from a human editor. Sample chapters published on this site or its siblings reflect the version the editor signed off on, not a draft. Where a passage has changed since launch (typo fixes, factual corrections), the page records the date of last review.

Fact-checking & sources

Our books are fiction; the science and technology in them is researched. Where an essay, fieldnote, or book cites a real study, paper, or news source, that citation is recorded in the page's structured data and, where possible, linked inline. If a citation is wrong or out of date, email contact@intergrateo.com and we will fix it.

AI disclosure

We are transparent about tools at every stage, and we ask the same of our authors. Every title carries a clear disclosure of how AI was or was not involved in its making. This website was built with the assistance of AI tools; editorial, publishing, and creative decisions remain the responsibility of Intergrateo Press and its authors.

For authors: disclosure is a condition of working together, not a penalty. Honest disclosure does not count against you; undisclosed use may.

Sensitivity & content

Our books are horror. They contain content that some readers will find difficult, including bodily horror, medical horror, surveillance, grief, and consent violations in technological contexts. Each book's page on this site lists the substantive content warnings the editor agreed on with the author. We do not water work down; we do disclose what is in it.

Corrections

If you spot an error of fact, attribution, or accessibility on this site or in one of our books, please tell us at contact@intergrateo.com. We log corrections, fix them in the next available edition, and update the relevant page's "last reviewed" date.

Ownership & disclosures

Intergrateo Press is a registered business name operated by a sole trader in Victoria, Australia. We do not accept paid placement, undisclosed sponsorship, or advertising. Affiliate links to retailers, where used, are disclosed at the link.
