These terms govern your use of the Intergrateo Press website and any material you send us, including author submissions. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1About this site
This is the website of Intergrateo Press, a registered business name operated by a sole trader in Victoria, Australia. The site is informational: it presents our books, our authors, and information about the press. It is not a shop. Purchases happen through third-party retailers we link to.
2Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, book descriptions, cover art, designs, and the names "Intergrateo Press" and "The Continuity Constellation", is owned by us or our authors and artists, or used with permission. It is protected by copyright and other laws. You may read and share links to the site, but you may not copy, reproduce, or republish substantial parts of it without our written permission. The text and covers of our books are not licensed for reproduction.
3Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site unlawfully, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, to scrape it at scale, or to use its content to train machine-learning systems without our written permission.
4Author submissions
We welcome submissions, and we want the terms around them to be fair and clear. By sending us a query, synopsis, or manuscript:
- You keep your rights. You retain all copyright and ownership in your work. Sending it to us does not transfer any rights. Any publishing agreement would be separate, in writing, and entered into freely by both sides.
- It is your work. You confirm the submission is original and yours to send, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- No obligation. We are under no obligation to read, respond to, publish, or return any submission, though we aim to respond within eight weeks.
- No confidentiality unless agreed. Please do not send confidential material. We cannot treat unsolicited submissions as confidential, and we may already be developing, or may later develop, work with similar themes independently. Submitting to us does not create any obligation of confidence or any partnership.
- Permission to read and assess. You grant us permission to read, evaluate, and internally circulate your submission for the purpose of considering it. This permission ends if we decline, except for any copy we retain briefly in line with our Privacy Policy.
- Disclosure of tools. If your submission involved AI tools at any meaningful stage, please tell us. Honest disclosure does not count against you; undisclosed use may.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law, that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5External links and purchases
The site links to third-party retailers and platforms (such as Amazon and Substack). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and that retailer, on their terms.
6No warranties
We provide the site "as is" and take reasonable care to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will always be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Information on the site is general and may change without notice.
7Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or any linked site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
8Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.
9Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with its effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
